This Sage Bambino Plus maintenance schedule explains how often to clean, backflush and descale your machine to maintain espresso quality and long-term performance. Follow the daily, weekly and water-hardness based maintenance routine below.

After each use run a short water purge throught the group head, rinse the portafilter and basket, and wipe the steam want immediately after steaming milk.


Daily Checklist:

  • Purge the group head
  • Rinse the portafilter basket
  • Wipe and purge the steam wand
  • Empty the drip tray when needed
  • Wipe Exterior Surfaces
