Why use a Sage water filter?

What's included?

Each Ventori Sage Water Filter pack contains:

  • Two replacements BES008-compatible water filters

Please note that the black filter holder is supplied with your Sage coffee machine and is reused each time you replace the filter. It is not included with replacement filters.

STEP 1 Remove the new filter from the box

Open the packaging and remove one new water filter. Keep the second filter sealed until it is needed.

STEP 2 Prime the filter

Place the filter into a jug of clean cold water for around 5 minutes.

Gently shake the filter while submerged to remove trapped air.

Priming ensures water flow correctly through the filter once installed.

STEP 3: Fit the filter into the holder

Insert the primed filter firmly into the original black Sage filter holder.

Ensure it clicks securely into place before installation.

STEP 4: INSTALL THE NEW FILTER

Push the new filter assembly into the base of the water tank until fully seared.

It should fit securely without excessive force.

STEP 5: FILL THE TANK

Fill the tank with fresh cold water before returning it to the machine.

Avoid using hot water

STEP 6: REFIT THE TANK

Slide the tank back onto the machine until it is fully seated.

step 7: flush the filter

Run water through the machine before making coffee.

This removes any remaining air and activates the filter.

Replace your filter every 3 months

For the best performance, replace yout Sage water filter approximately every 3 months.
