Coffee-system cleaning
Use the guided touchscreen cleaning programme and cleaning tablet.
Water filter
Replace the ClaroSwiss filter and confirm the change if the machine requests it.
Descaling
Use the Oracle Jet guided maintenance programme and complete all rinse stages.
Grinder
Brush dry coffee residue from user-serviceable burr and outlet areas.

Coffee-oil cleaning
Let the Oracle Jet touchscreen lead the cleaning programme.
Do not substitute a button sequence from an older Oracle model. Use the Jet’s own maintenance menu.
Fit the correct basket and cleaning disc
Use the Sage cleaning disc or insert supplied for your machine.
Add one suitable cleaning tablet
Place the tablet in the cleaning disc or basket exactly as the machine procedure shows.
Start the cleaning programme
Use the machine prompt, touchscreen menu or model-specific button sequence.
Let the full cycle finish
Do not interrupt the pressure and rinse stages once the programme is running.
Rinse the brew parts
Remove and rinse the portafilter, basket and cleaning disc before making coffee again.
Mineral scale care
Use the Oracle Jet guided descale programme.
Controls differ from earlier Oracle generations. Follow the touchscreen from preparation through the final fresh-water rinse.
Open the maintenance menu
Choose the Oracle Jet descale function rather than using an older Oracle control sequence.
Prepare the water system
Remove the filter if requested and prepare the descaling solution to the programme volume.
Follow the guided stages
Allow the machine to manage each water-path stage without interruption.
Complete the fresh-water rinse
Refill with fresh water whenever prompted and wait for the programme to confirm completion.
Water care
Use the current Sage ClaroSwiss filter system.
Replace and track the filter separately from the descale programme.
Check filter compatibility
Older Dual Boiler and Oracle production runs can use a different filter arrangement, so check the batch/holder before ordering.
Soak the replacement
Prepare the current ClaroSwiss cartridge using the filter instructions before fitting it.
Fit it securely
Install the prepared cartridge into the holder and lock the holder into the water tank.
Track the replacement
Use the machine reminder or installation date so the next change is not missed.
Milk hygiene
Keep the automatic steam system physically clean.
Automatic purging does not replace wiping the wand or clearing blocked tip holes.
Purge before milk
Run a short purge before texturing milk.
Wipe immediately
Wipe the wand with a clean damp cloth while milk residue is still soft.
Allow the purge
Where the machine has automatic purging, return the wand to its normal position and let the purge finish.
Clear the tip when needed
Use the supplied cleaning tool or the exact Sage cleaning method if the steam holes become restricted.
Dry coffee care
Keep grinder cleaning dry.
Brush stale grounds from user-serviceable grinder areas and keep water away from burrs.
Empty or isolate the beans
Remove beans before deeper grinder cleaning.
Keep the burr chamber dry
Brush away loose grounds and stale coffee; do not introduce water into the grinder.
Clean the outlet
Clear dry coffee residue from the grind chute or dosing area using the supplied brush.
Reassemble before use
Refit all removable grinder parts securely before adding beans.
