Nespresso UK currently recommends descaling every 3–4 months or after about 300 capsules, whichever comes first, unless the machine gives an earlier alert. Cleaning and milk care happen much more frequently.

Wipe the steam wand after milk use and allow it to purge. Clean the steam tip when performance drops or the machine maintenance guidance calls for it.

Troubleshooting
