Regular cleaning
Clean the Magnifica S Smart infuser.

Power down normally
Switch the machine off using its normal control and let it complete shutdown.

Open the service area
Remove the water tank and open the infuser access door.

Release the infuser
Use the red release buttons and draw the infuser out carefully.

Rinse with water
Rinse coffee residue away with water only; do not use detergent.

Dry and refit
Shake off excess water, allow it to drain and reinstall it securely.
If the infuser will not release, do not force it. Complete a normal power cycle before trying again.
Water care
Replace the water filter.

Match the product to the maintenance job.
Use descaler for mineral build-up. Coffee-system cleaner is a separate model-specific job and should never be used on the removable infuser. Compatible filtration manages incoming water where fitted.
